Remark: The International Organizations, INGO and NGO can apply for an Official Visa.

Required Documents

Passport Original Passport / U.S. Official/Diplomatic Passport – have to be valid at least 6 months beyond intended stay and must have at least two blank visa pages.

Proof of U.S. Status
(Non-U.S. Citizens Only)		 Non-American passport holders need to provide a Green Card copy or Documents showing legal status in the U.S.
Photo Two (2) passport-type photographs required.

Quality Requirements for Passport Book & Passport Card Photographs
Diplomatic Letter / Organization Documents Applicants must provide the following documentation:
  • A cover letter from the government agency (Diplomatic Note).
  • The request letter from the Organization in the U.S. and the invitation letter from the Organization in Myanmar that have registered according to Myanmar Association Registration Law. (Both must be on official letterhead).
  • A copy of the valid registration of the Organization from Myanmar.
  • The recommendation/approval letter by the Focal Ministry.
Proof of Departure A copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent.
