ALGERIA TOURIST VISA – U.S. CITIZENS

1. Valid and signed passport: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned travel dates. It also needs to have at least one blank page labeled “Visa” for the visa stamp.
2. No visa pages used: The visa cannot be stamped on a page that already has even a small stamp on it. The visa must be placed on a completely blank visa page.
3. Renew if expiring soon: If your passport will expire within 6 months of your travel dates, you’ll need to renew it before applying for the visa. We can then secure the visa for your new, renewed passport.
4. Additional pages if needed: If your passport doesn’t have any blank visa pages left, we can help you apply for additional pages to be added to your passport.

Notarization

If the invitation letter is from an Algerian host (your family or friends), it needs to be notarized. This means it needs to be officially certified as authentic.The invitation letter can be notarized:

• At the city hall in Algeria
• At a notary public office, if the Algerian host is living in the US

Requirements

The Algerian host must provide a copy of one of the following:

• Their Algerian ID
• Their Algerian passport
• Their Algerian consular card

Fax copies of these documents are not accepted.
