REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN VISA TO ENTER MEXICO

TOURIST TRAVEL

  • U.S. Passport must be valid 3 months beyond intended stay
  • Tickets and Documents for return or future travel
  • No Visa is required for stay up to 180 days
  • Vaccinations – None Required
  • Tourist Card (Form FMT) is required, can be obtained at the first port of entry at the borders or at Mexican Consulates or Embassies
  • Minors/Children Under 14 years travelling alone shuold be accompanied by an adult

BUSINESS TRAVEL

  • U.S. Passport must be valid 3 months beyond intended stay
  • Tickets and Documents for return or future travel
  • No Visa is required for stay up to 90 days
  • Vaccinations – None Required
  • Business Negotiations Card (Form FMN) is required, can be obtained at the first port of entry at the borders or at Mexican Consulates or Embassies
  • Business travelers entering Mexico for the purpose of installing, repairing, maintaining equipment or performing their profession in Mexico, or visit factories and plants require a visa. Please contact the respective Embassy/Consulate directly

DIPLOMATIC/OFFICIAL TRAVEL
