REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN VISA TO ENTER GUINEA-BISSAU
A valid Passport, Visa, and proof of return/future ticket are required.
As of January 2007, the Guinea-Bissau Embassy in Washington, D.C. is temporarily closed.
The Embassy of Guinea-Bissau does not have a web site.
Due to lack of consular representation in the U.S., it is difficult to obtain the required visa for entry into Guinea-Bissau.
Some travelers are able to apply for Visas at the Guinea-Bissau embassies in other countries, such as Senegal or Portugal.
